All TOG members are certified with an organization to ensure organic standards, mostly the Soil Association or Organic Farmers and Growers.Soil Association
The Soil Association has probably the highest and most comprehensive standards for organic production and processing in the world. Their standards not only meet the UK government's minimum requirements but in many areas are higher. This is particularly true with animal welfare (for example poultry), and the use of pesticides and fertilisers.Organic Farmers & Growers
Organic Farmers & Growers (OF&G) is a leading UK organic control body with a reputation for practical, efficient and friendly service. It is one of a number of control bodies accredited by Defra and is approved to inspect organic production and processing in the UK.
